9:25 am - Pardon Me If I Bitch...
|
...but my life kinda sucks right now. See for the past week or so, I have had an extreme fibro flare-up with much exhaustion, with a little bit of sinus infection, which is why I haven't been on much lately. My sleep schedules been totally messed around, with lots of waking up. And last night my mom went to the hospital. She has pneumonia again. And I know she'll be fine, but I'm still scared, 'cause she has enough lung problems as it is. I have to go to the hospital myself tomorrow, for fibro treatment. It's not that bad, though I do hate being stuck with the IV needle, and the food is shit. Meanwhile, I've been attacked by Restless Leg Syndrome, which should be called Restless EVERYTHING Syndrome in my case, and the itchies. I don't know where these itchies come from; they're not bites, my skin is a little dry but not that dry, and there's no sign of a rash. I've taken two aveeno baths within the past six hours and I'm still kinda itchy. It's driving me CRAZY >.< ...well... crazier
All right, now the exhaustion's kicking in and I have to go before I pass out, or at least stop making sense. Love you all

9:58 pm - General Hospital Stole My Character Idea
|
There's a soap opera called General Hospital that my mom watches, and I vaguely pay attention sometimes, 'cause there's two teenage characters that I like. One of them is called Spinelli or the Jackal (that's what he calls himself, at least) and he's kind of a nerd, but he's also an computer genius and an uber hacker and he has this very distinct nerdish way of talking that I think is so cute. So I came up with a female character who's very much like him, and the idea was that I'd play her. Now I knew that it wasn't likely that that would ever happen, but then the writers actually make a character who's a rip-off of mine!!! Not everything's the same, but she's close enough to the character I came up with that it's like they copied her out of my brain and made a change or two. I am very annoyed by this. I've had this idea for like a year. I WANT CREDIT DAMNIT! Aargh S'just not fair.
So that's Raye's rant of the day. Please cheer me up by clicking my new dragon
 Thank you.

10:01 pm - Happy New Year!
|
Well it's that time of year again. The end. I hope you've all had a great year and that the new year will be even BETTER! So have fun, laugh with your friends, and ring in the new year with some champange, or gingerale if you're underadge or dislike alcohol.
In case anyone's wondering, my New Year's Resolutions are (in order of importance) 1)To find out how to legally change my name, and then do it. 2)Clean my room, and try to keep it mostly decent afterwards. 3)Cut back on all the sugar I eat. 4)Be more active (treadmill, go for walks, see people, ect.)
Oh, and surprise, surprise, I adopted another dragon for the new year.
Give it a click, won't you?
So, a happy and healthy New Year to all of you, and may it be full of love, much love.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

7:31 am - Why the Hell Am I Awake At This Hour?!?!?!?!
|
Gaaah. I've not been sleeping well lately. I have nooooo idea why I'm awake. But I am.
Yeah, so I've been sicklike for a few days. I thought it was a sinus infection, but then my throat was sore, so now I have no idea what it is. Anyway it's really lame. I think I'm getting better, though, YAY!
I have a new iPod. I lost Jackson at JFK when we came back from Disney. It was very sad, but since I had to go to the hospital the next weekend for fibro treatment (completely routine, I assure you) so my mom wanted me to have one so I could listen to music and not be bored out of my mind. My new iPod is a girl, she's purple and pretty, and her name is Viva. *nodnods*
I dunno what to say anymore, so here have a dragon.

9:35 am - Disney World
|
Okee, I've been home for a few days and I figure it's time to tell y'all about my trip to Disney World.
Okay, so we went to celebrate my mom's 50th birthday. And it was a lot of fun. We stayed at two different hotels in Disney. First we stayed at The Beach Club for four nights, and then at the Grand Floridian for the last three. Both were awesome. The Beach Club had the coolest pool in the world. It had a sand bottom and it was GINORMOUS. And there was a kickass waterslide too. Our room was really nice, and we went to some cool restaurants. At the Grand Floridian we were on the concierge level, which meant we could hang out in this cool concierge lounge where they served snacks and drinks and stuff all for free. The snacks were only out at certain times, but they had a soda fridge you could take from any time, and if you wanted something besides soda, you could just ask one of the waitressy people and they'd give it to you. And you could bring stuff back to your room to put in the mini-fridge there. Also, the Grand Floridian's pool wasn't as cool as the Beach Club's, but it's hot tub was way better. And that was the hotels.
The parks were great. The first day we went to The Animal Kingdom, which I liked a lot more than I thought I would. (You all know how much I love animals 9.9) We saw a 30 minute musical version of Finding Nemo, which was soooooooo cute. They had puppets! Like in Avenue Q, except not fuzzy perverted puppets. It was really sweet. I got a little penguin plushie at one of the gift stalls. I heart it. I named it Guiliana, after the girl who sold it to me who was totally flirting with me. It was cool. The next day we went to Epcot (my favorite of all the parks.) We went around part of the world showcase and had some awesome pastries in Norway. We went to The Seas with Nemo and Friends which was cute, and then saw Turtle Talk with Crush, which was awesome. The little kids asking questions were all so cute! Then we went back to the World Showcase for dinner at the Rose and Crown Pub in England. They didn't really have anything I would eat so I just got two desserts. We saw IllumiNations (the Epcot firework and light show) from a patio cafe in Mexico. We had a great view and it was seriously beautiful. I loved it. We got back to the hotel kinda late that night, so we had a late start the next day when we went to Disney Hollywood Studios. It was fun there, though. We went on the Great Movie Ride (which I went on when my dad took me when I was like, seven, and it scared the crap out of me) which was fun, and we saw Fantasmic which was seriously AMAZING. Personally, I liked IllumiNations better, but you have to appreciate Fantasmic for all the amazing special effects in it.
I never made it to the Magic Kingdom. The next day it rained heavily 'till well in the afternoon (rain and fibromyalgia don't mix,) but we couldn't just have the day off because we had to check out of the Beach Club and go to the Grand Floridian. The original plan was that we'd check out and then head over to the Magic Kingdom and take the monorail to the Grand Floridian around four (which was our check-in time). The weather was awful, though, so we didn't really want to hang out in the parks. Plus we were all tired 'cause we'd had to get up early to pack and check out. We hung out in the Solarium (like an extra lobby) at the Beach Club for awhile, before we decided that we weren't really feeling well, and that we would go to the Grand Floridian (via the Magic Kingdom monorail) and see if we could get an early check in. So we get to the Magic Kingdom, and the monorail to the hotels is BROKEN. So we had to take a boat. There was a huge line for the boats and it was raining, and I could barely stand and there was nowhere to sit. Eventually we did make it to the hotel, but it was an EXTREMELY hectic day and that plus the fact that we did a lot the first three days completely wiped me out, and I spent the last two days of the vacation in the hotel room recuperating
I still had a lot of fun though. It was too much to expect that I could go a full week without a fibro episode, esspecially since all our days were so busy. And the room was nice and the bed was comfy and I had two books and my iPod and I really didn't mind just sitting out and relaxing the last two days. I had an awesome time overall, that's what matters.
So those are the highlights of my trip to Disney. It was a lot of fun. Mom and Kerry had a good time too. I can't wait to go back again sometime, only I'll take it a lot easier then. ^_^

5:06 pm - Bad news about the SATs and GOOD news about DISNEY WORLD
|
Okay. So. My alarm goes off at six like I told it to. It wakes me up with "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" which was amusing. So I try to move to get up and that's when I noticed: I AM IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN. So I call for mom and Kerry, hoping for company and painkillers, mainly the latter. So my mom DOES come in and she asks what's wrong and I tell her I'm having a terrible fibro flare up, esspecially in my right arm, from the shoulder to my fingertips and even worse in my elbow. I was litterally crying out in pain. It was bad. My mom sat with me, giving me two extra ultram at six forty five when the four she'd given me at six weren't doing anything. (oh and the fibro was so bad that both time, when she gave me the meds, she had to put the meds into my mouth, and then pour the seltzer into my mouth because I couldn't even lift my head enough to take my meds on my own)The whole time my mom keeps trying to convince me to get up and finally after the second dose of meds I agree, 'cause I hadta pee real bad. So after several painful tries we finally get me up and I make it to the bathroom. My mom was sure that if I got up, I'd realize that I could do it and I'd get dressed and go, but I just felt like I was gonna pass out from pain. So I lay back down wishing I COULD just pass out because the pain was that awful. Occaisionally it would get more intense for a bit and I'd scream. Then, around seven, my dad calls, and by this point mom and I have agreed that I'm just in no shape to do my SATs, which I wasn't happy about. I'd put a lot of hours into tutoring for it, and I was really confident that I could get my goal score of 2050, maybe even better. I WANTED to take the SATs. But as it was, the ultram wasn't working and the only thing I could think about at all was the pain I was in and how much I wanted it to stop. So we told dad that I was completely out of commission. Mom fluffed my pillows and I gave me some sleep medicine and I found a position that was somewhat less painful than the others and went to sleep. So that's the bad news. The good news is that I'm nearly all packed for Disney World. We leave tomorrow. When I woke up at two, I was in MUCH less pain and the three ultram I took got rid of the pain I still had. So I got my stuff packed in about an hour (with a half-hour rest in the middle) with a little help from mom. All I have to do now is pack my messenger bag tomorrow morning. So this is probably the last you'll hear of me untill the fifteenth, since we don't get home till about 11 on the 14th, and I'mma want to go straight to sleep then. All right, I'm getting very tired and my ultram is starting to wear off. I might sign on later tonight, but then again I might not. I love you all and I will MISS YOU. Byebyes

7:17 am - I'm TERESA!!!
|
Okay. I know like none of you read Claymore, but I took a claymore quiz anyway. And I ended up being one of the most badass, completely awesome, and most adored character in the series.
| Who are you most like? Your Result: Teresa The strongest Claymore of her time, haughty, prideful and rather abrasive to both humans and her handlers alike. Teresa's harsh exterior hid her true concern for those around her pushing them away and protecting them for the most part. Teresa changed dramatically when she began taking care of chibi Clare. | | Galatea | | | Clare | | | Riful | | | Raki | | | Miria | | | Ophelia | | | Ilena | | Who are you most like? Quiz Created on GoToQuiz |
I think it's funny 'cause I'm like Clare too, and Teresa, Clare, and Raki are all headvoices. And I'm also sort of like Riful, who's totally my favorite character. So yeah, this made me happy. ^_^

8:31 pm - Raye's Brilliant Idea of Brilliant Idea...ness
|
Okay. So. Awhile backs I said I wanted to start up a forum for all my friends. But I mean it. I seriously wanna do it. But I don't wanna do it unless you people are going to come. So I want feedback on this, okay? FEEDBACK. And y'all can invite your friends and they can invite their friends and so on and so forth. The basic idea is that it will connect the lot of us to each other and groups of friends that haven't met yet will. It'll be a place for random chat, obscure references and RPs that DON'T REQUIRE EVERYONE BEING ON AT THE SAME TIME. There won't really be a POINT to this forum other than to kick back and have fun. So if this sounds like something you'd join and participate in TELL ME. 'Cause I miss being a forum administrator, but it's no fun being an admin of a forum that no one goes to. So, what d'y'all think?

|
Okay, so 'Nny-the-Dragon is all grown up now. So I 'dopted another egg. It's RED. I like the red. The red is cool. SO BEHOLD:
 Please click please. *nodnods*
Also, my white dragon is a female white dragon, so I wanted to name her after Teresa. Claymore is not all that well known. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is. So how is it that I had NO trouble naming my black dragon 'Nny, but I had to think of ALL the different things Teresa is called and then STILL had to do funky things with the spacing. The dragon is Teresa ofthe FaintSmile. But still. I find it odd that it was so difficult to name her.
